Unforgiven Crime
If I took you to the light,
Then you very well might;
To see things as they are,
Both near and also far.
But because you embark,
Where it is cold and dark;
Making you blind as a bat,
Not knowing where it is at.
Obstacles on your path,
Will trip you in the wrath;
That God will do in time,
For an unforgiven crime.
Our Father will only bless,
When you sincerely confess;
Making amends to your sin,
Allow to be cleansed within.
By opening up your heart,
To Christ gives a new start;
Ridding you of the strife,
And giving you eternal life.
