 Pearl Harbor Day

It's the 7th of December again,
and time to bow our heads and
pray for all of those fallen young men.

Sixty-five years ago today…
a day of infamy was on it way.
Bomb after bomb took its toll
on that bright December day.

Ship after ship floundered and
sank into Pearl Harbor Bay.
Hundreds of young Americans
were lost in that infamous way.

They ask not for pity or fame in anyway,
they simply want us to remember
their spirits on this…Pearl Harbor Day.

For you see…
they died so we might continue to
live in the traditional American way.
