THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS

THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS

The snow is falling on the ground
Gently it falls without a sound
Everything is white, crisp and clean
It`s a beautiful Christmas scene.

The trees are dressed and lit up bright
As darkness falls this Christmas Eve Night,
Things are warm and cosy inside
Excitement is so hard to hide.

Stockings are hung up by the fire
Hoping they'll be filled with their hearts desire
Carol singers can be heard outside
Spreading the goodness of Yule tide.

Children sleep soundly in their beds
With thoughts of toys filling their heads
Will Santa bring what they asked for?
No doubt he will and a lot more.

Mince pies lie ready on a plate
For Santa, hope he isn`t late,
A carrot`s there for Rudolph too
He`s Santa's` friend that is true.

Across the skies these two fly on
With the blink of an eye they are gone
The other reindeers pull the sleigh
Happily going on their way.

As children rub the sleep from their eyes
`Santa`s Been` they shout in joyful cries,
`Wow! look at those presents all for me,
I must have been as good as can be`.

Now let`s not forget Jesus was born
On a cold and frosty winters morn,
He didn`t have what we have today,
He only had hay and in a manger lay.

Remember now why Christmas is here
It`s Jesus` Birthday this time of year,
Enjoy receiving and giving too
It`s a magical time that is true.
