Signs of Christmas

Love is born anew for us this day,
As an angel came and began to say;
The Lord made flesh dwelt among,
While a Heavenly host also sung.

The true light that shines from afar,
Is the light of hope from that star;
In the city of Bethlehem just above,
It is where to find peace and love.

The Word has come to the earth,
Through a virgin who gave birth;
Shining over where God has blest,
A child in a manger laid to rest.

Not of a nation rather on His own,
To become ruler of all on His throne;
Lord of lords and King of kings,
Promise of a salvation He brings.

The Word is true never deceive,
Eternal life to be if you believe;
By admitting that you are flawed,
And accepting the triune God.
