Honesty with the Lord
Shout to the Lord don't hold back,
He gives strength where you lack;
Worship Him and you will earn,
His blessings of what you learn.
For if you want justice do it right,
Obey His laws in seeing the light;
So stop fighting and rid your anger,
Do not let your emotions hunger.
You say you asked God in prayer,
But have you come clean to share;
Everything within or just pretend,
For that something would offend.
He already knows in your mind,
All the wicked or if you are kind;
That is why to fess-up and confess,
And in return He will surely bless.
Then your light to shine as the sun,
As dawning of a new day has begun;
Honesty protects as you are healed,
And a new covenant will be sealed.
