We know as to respect the Lord,
To be loved honored and adored;
And urging others towards Him,
Lifting burdens not feeling grim.
And I hope also that you know,
Where we are expecting to go;
Living our lives the way we do,
As to the Word each day through.
I am not trying to bolster or to brag,
Or going around and waving a flag;
Rather being sincere with the truth,
Even if it is blunt sounding uncouth.
It is that after all that God has done,
Then sends us His only begotten Son;
And whoever trusts not die in strife,
Rather to be given everlasting life.
So whoever is spreading His love,
Along with the Holy Word thereof;
Our Heavenly Father will cherish,
Ensuring that they never will perish.
