(The idea for this came upon me as I sit and wait for my two boys at high school to get out of school. There are so many girls who seem to look so much older than the girls did when I went to high school. Maybe it's what they wear or how they make themselves up but whatever it is they look more older.)
The sign says Beware
Verse
What is this thing you have over me
When I see you I melt like butter on a hot day
I can't believe you have control over me
I try to resist you but I can't look away
Chorus
You are so young; you are so cold
It's hard to believe you're sixteen years old
You look so much older by the things that you wear
But you're just a child; the sign says beware
Verse
From your red ruby lips to your painted on toes
The shaking of hips and your black pantyhose
You drive the guys wild so what do you expect
When all of the guys don't show you respect
Chorus
You are so young; you are so cold
It's hard to believe you're sixteen years old
You look so much older by the things that you wear
But you're just a child; the sign says beware
Verse
I will not fall prey; I will be strong
I will not become another one of your victims
But I must admit, you are hard to resist
But I will not allow you to win
Chorus
You are so young; you are so cold
It's hard to believe you're sixteen years old
You look so much older by the things that you wear
But you're just a child; the sign says beware
Verse
So take those short skirts that you always wear
I won't be around to give you a stare
When the temptations too strong and I know they are wrong
I won't be around; I'll be long gone
