Stewards of this Land
Stewards of this Land
Look at what's around you
Tell me what you see
Do you see the sun
Bright as it can be
Can you see the birds
Flying in the sky
Can you see the beauty
With your own two eyes
Look at all the squirrels
Playing in the trees
How they love to scamper
And hide among the leaves
Stop and smell the flowers
With colors pure and bright
Smell their sweet fragrance
It's such a sweet delight
Isn't it amazing
That right before your eyes
Surrounded by such beauty
It's then you realize
This beauty that surrounds you
Created by God's hands
Is for us all to treasure
We're keepers of this land
So treat it with respect
It's not to be abused
We need to be good stewards
It starts with me and you
