Taking for Granted
Does anyone truly believe,
Or seen His mighty power;
Or when we will receive,
For the coming of the hour.
Just as breathing of the air,
It is impossible for us to see;
But we know that it is there,
For us to use abundantly.
If you ever take time to think,
Anytime that you have thirst;
Abundantly too much to drink,
Feeling as if that you will burst.
Looking up that you just might,
See such a marvel up in the sky;
With the sun shining so bright,
That nearly blinds you in the eye.
Taking for granted many things,
That God graciously does provide;
Of joy and comfort that it brings,
If we only learned how to abide.
