Living Righteously
Our lives are nothing unless,
We believe in the righteousness;
Brought forth by Jesus Christ,
On the cross and was sacrificed,
For in this life we tend to cope,
Looking at tomorrow in our hope;
Knowing that there is more to life,
Than everyday in toil and strife.
There is no doubt the reason why,
In anguish with letting out a sigh;
All because we have been flawed,
Since the day Adam was outlawed.
But the Lord still saw some good,
And set some laws that we should;
For following them so we can strive,
Living on the earth while still alive.
But even if we might go and break,
Our Father in Heaven will not forsake,
He is willing to forgive and to bless,
As long as we are willing to confess.
