 The lot
There's bread in the toaster
There's tea in the pot
There's nothing in my wallet
But I've got the lot
I've got shoes for my feet
A shirt for my back
It's only material possessions
That I really lack
I've got the sun in the sky
A roof for my head
My rent paid for this week
And my very own bed
There's rich men and kings
Not half as happy as me
I may not have their wealth
But I am fit and free
And when my lover smiles
In that very special way
I can face the world
And I can truly say
There's bread in the toaster
There's tea in the pot
There's nothing in my wallet
But mate I've got the lot
