The Wisdom of God
God has given you a freedom,
For searching out the wisdom;
Of whatever you may treasure,
In whatever you may pleasure.
But please use common sense,
So it will not be at the expense;
At what God does command,
As well as the laws of this land.
For if you do not show respect,
It will be God who will object;
If you refuse to trust and obey,
And not taking the time to pray.
Wisdom will be what you earn,
While being faithful as you learn;
What is right and honest and fair,
And that you are willing to share.
The wisdom of God you will find,
Capable in controlling your mind;
In sound judgment as you decide,
Through His Word that you abide.
