Confessions of a Christian Agnostic
I have no doubts about Jesus.
He is a prophet of love and transformation.
I have doubts about all the creeds.
Virgin birth?
I don't think the world works that way.
I don't need reproductive miracles
To make spiritual miracles more real.
They are real regardless
Of what you recite in church on Sunday.
Walking on water?
We all walk on the water of reality
And some of us are drowning.
Can you reach out and help some one who is sinking?
Can you even help yourself?
Or is your charity a cover for your own spiritual bankruptcy?
Resurrected body?
The Easter Faith is not about reanimated flesh
But reanimated spirit-Soul born out of the death of the flesh
Into a mystery none of us fully understands.
