Death of A FlowerMy long shiny green stem slides effortlessly into the silvery crystal encased tomb of blue green water. With a last halting breath of fresh air I give up my life to beautify another's dim, colorless world. My pretty pink petals hang suspended as though upon a cross surrounded by perky white baby's breath, as I bow my dried up yellow head in eternal slumber.
