Sensible and Wise
Be sensible and wise,
Insight within your eyes;
Showing by living right,
And walking in the light.
Be humble in your view,
And wise in all you do;
Keeping your heart pure,
Away from a tempting lure.
If you are filled with greed,
Then to be sowing bad seed;
That will bloom selfishness,
And blocking any blessedness.
Do not lie or try to brag,
God does not like a windbag;
That wisdom is not from above,
Satan does not fill it with love.
Wisdom from God is sincere,
In His love drawing Him near;
And seeds of peace will grow,
Harvesting blessing as they flow.
