One True Love
Love can be a splendid thing,
With all the joy it will bring;
For if you are willing to share,
You will show that you care.
But your love can disappear,
When it is shrouded by fear;
That confuses you in a daze,
Just like walking in a maze.
If your greed starts to thirst,
Which is putting you as first;
You have chosen another god,
That you have honored to laud.
Either way there is no love,
That God showered from above;
Your faith has not been secure,
Saving you from a tempting lure.
True love of God is a solid rock,
Becoming stronger as you walk;
Making you willing at any price,
To allow yourself as the sacrifice.
