Anew Praise
Earth and sky listen to what I say,
And let us rejoice in this new day;
That God has given for us to impart,
In a new day for a brand new start.
I profess in words like gentle rain,
On the tender plants for to attain;
Of nourishment to make you grow,
In a spiritual sense for you to know.
Join with me in praising His name,
As your ears hear while I proclaim;
That the Lord God is a mighty rock,
And a shepherd watching His flock.
He will steer you away from lust,
If you give Him all of your trust;
Just remember not to lie or cheat,
Not to be boastful or in conceit.
For He is the One who created you,
And will be there if you remain true;
With support of the Heavenly Host,
Of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
