When our Lord Returns
When our Lord returns,
We can gladly rejoice;
And as everyone yearns,
Wanting to hear His voice.
When our Lord returns,
We shall then all meet;
Then as everyone learns,
When He takes His seat.
When our Lord returns,
Over all, Jesus shall reign;
Judging while He governs,
Of a dominion to remain.
When our Lord returns,
Sitting on His royal throne;
Saying what everyone earns,
For calling Him their own.
When our Lord returns,
There are some He will tell;
Of such a lifestyle who burns,
Within the fiery pits of Hell.
