From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
In Her Company

I lay and hold you in my arms
And rub my feet against yours
Thunder rumbles in the distance
As lightning strikes
Outside it's about to pour

You cuddle closer to me
And I soak in the moment
As my heart continues to melt
You turn and gaze into my eyes
I'm oblivious to what's on TV
Or what's happening outside

I continue to fall deeper
As I lean in to your lips
This moment made complete
Just like it would my life
If sealed with a kiss

Time not on our side
But we make the most
Out of what we get
I tell her that I'm floating
After all this time
It's still me she satisfies
I tell her I love her
And she says she loves me
I can't believe after all she's done
My heart isn't liquefied

I let her know
That my heart
Has always been with her
And always will be
I really can't and won't
Give it to any other

Such an angelic beauty
I'm over here
Loving what I see In Her Eyes
My heart truly happy
Another moment I have missed
So many more left on the list
