Let The Fun BeginMy God you are a Grandma, I can`t believe that`s true I here you calling mum and da will you lace up my shoe. Wiped your nose and cleaned your bum, sang sweet lullabies Tickled you upon your tum, Is time is telling lies? But my mirror tells the truth, I am no longer young My babys` grown out of her youth, But it`s an honest sum. I don`t mind that time goes past, more memories to store Just wish it didn`t go so fast while closing childhoods` door. Still I see you in my heart holding tight to me And although we`re very far apart that`s where you`ll always be So have a happy day today, in spirit I am there Enjoy your walk along lifes` way, remember how I care. So once again your birthdays here New memories to spin And as I tell you every year Let the fun begin. Vote for this poem |
