Did you ever take time to think,
Having no water for to drink;
Thirst so much your throat was dry,
To the point can not even cry.
Once our thirst quenched has been,
Eventually we will thirst again;
For one drink can never satisfy,
Only another drink can rectify.
But through Christ if you believe,
For your thirst He will relieve;
With the water that He will give,
Revitalizing water to eternally live.
The water is of a flowing fountain,
Flows farther than the tallest mountain;
Freeing you from the toils and strife,
While you are gaining an eternal life.
If you are not to be putting Jesus first,
Then always you to constantly thirst;
While you dry up and wither away,
Because of unbelief and gone astray.
