Miracles happen every day if we care to see,
And the marvelous thing is, they are all for free,
Just look at the birth of a child, all safe and sound,
It`s in things like this that miracles are found.
The first steps of a child or the words they may utter,
They are a wonder to you and set your heart a flutter,
Little miracles maybe, but still they are true,
Wonderful experiences that you never knew.
How about the rainbow that appears in the sky,
We all look up and smile, the colours, My oh! My,
The rainbow is Gods promise of sunshine after rain
So when our spirits flag, it gives us hope again.
What about nature when trees look bare and dead
Because summer`s gone and all their leaves they have shed,
Then hope springs eternal when little buds do show,
They`ll bloom again and once more in the wind they`ll blow.
What of evolution? The likes of frogs spawn,
Masses of tiny eggs, this is how they`re born,
Then into tadpoles with tiny tales they swim
Then they turn into frogs and their life does then begin.
So don`t go searching for impossible things,
When you don`t get them they`ll pull on your heart strings,
Look for the simple things that are close to hand,
Miracles are here, dreams lie on a far distant land.
