 POETICAL ME

Easter Week

Years have past since that grim day
The blood God shed that paved the way
For man unworthy of salvation
By CHRIST the world saved from damnation

He walked and fell and rose again
Our sins he bared yet man woud send
A cross for him to wear and die
Worn for us all today he cries

He cries because recrucify
The Son of Man each day with lies
Our sins which run rampant that brew
Inside each heart he saved and knew

A week to ponder what should one do
Shall we ignore or folow through
With love given a second chance
Reborn to live where Angels dance

Easter comes but once a year
Will you succumb, you He calls dear
To his heart whose mighty hands
Survived the nails he wore for man
