Colorful SimplicitiesSpring is all around. It is everywhere to be found. Flowers peek from the ground, Stretch their arms with not a sound. The butterflies will soon appear, Amongst the flowers growing near. They will flutter about without a fear, In soundless rumpus that none do hear. This vision of colorful simplicities, Was created just to please. To all and one that sees, It does inspire and tease. In such times as these, The words will flow with ease. Copyright ©2005 Leona M. Mars Published 2005 in The International WHO'S WHO IN POETRY Oh how I love Spring, it is then that I go into a tangent. Some call it Spring Fever, call it whatever you may. I call it my "Inspirational Time." The words do flow during this time, but some are gone with the wind. I do try to capture some , I will hurriedly jog it on anything that is near. I don't know, tell me, is this the characteristics of all poets? Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
