THE CAMPSITE

THE CAMPSITE

Hey! the field is full this year
And dogs are barking I hear,
Children are playing having fun
In the fresh air under the sun.

We are camped under a pine tree
There`s a mixture of things to see,
Caravans, tents and boats are here
Then again the sea is so near.

After travelling over night
Tired I'll just laze about, right!
In the sun lounger I just flop
Then I feel the cursed wet drop.

The awnings up, so in I go
Can`t trust the weather goes to show,
Never mind, it doesn`t last long
Everything`s fine now, nothing`s wrong.

Tea is over, dishes are done
Hope tomorrow we`ll see the sun,
Tired still, I`m going to bed
Crosswords done and the paper`s read.
