The Son of God
Christ is exactly like God,
To whom we honor and laud;
And though unable to see
Here now and always shall be.
For He is the first born Son,
Before all time had begun;
Master of all creation,
Through Him our salvation.
By Him all was created,
Through Him initiated;
Both in Heaven and on earth,
The beauty of all its worth.
Everything seen and unseen,
That is now and ever been;
All resources of nature,
In the past and the future.
Put the Son of God ahead,
Of idolatry instead;
So by putting Jesus first,
Your soul is quenching its thirst.
