"It Was"
 - Nineteen months to the day

Horizons wide
Endless skies
Oceans deep
Rivers flow
Mountains climb
Two hearts beat

Promises made
Meant to be kept
Slowly disappeared
While I slept

Spring has sprung
Winter's thaw
Summer's blessings
Bountiful colours Fall

Alone together
Up close apart
The end has come
And brought a new start

Candlelit nights
All day talks
Romantic dates
Moonlit walks

Wish upon a star
Lost in flight
The rains pour down
Douse the flame of love
Rainbows reach
Skyward bound

Life isn't ordinary
It's truth, it's real
The grass isn't greener
It's merely what you feel

Something special
Rare and unique
Could have had it all
You needed to seek

Yesterdays gone
Dawn has broken
Hearts on a mend
Destiny has spoken
