LIFE SPAN






LIFE SPAN







Long ago is was foretold
That I would live to be quite old,
Can`t say whether it`s true or not
But I`ll give it my best shot.





I`ve a lot of living to do
I want to try pastures anew,
To do things I`ve never done
My adventure has not yet begun.





I want to laugh and love a lot
Plenty of zest is what I`ve got,
Romance is high upon my list
A feeling like this can`t be missed.



One day when I am old and grey
In my mind I hope to replay
A happy life lived to the full
One full of joy and never dull.



If the prophesy is true
I will be back to tell you,
So looking further down the line
Keep your eye open for my sign.
