For You I Am Praying

For you, dear friend, I am praying
I feel the pain in your heart today
It helps to think of Jesus on the cross
It's then our skies turn from blue to grey.
Jesus prayed alone in The Garden
He set a great example for you and I
If we go to our closet, kneel and pray
God will meet us there to hear each sigh.
Trials come to test our Faith in Him
We may be discouraged but don't quit
There's a brighter day ahead of you
It's just that God is not finished yet.
Trails find their way to each of us
It's then, we must go to God in prayer
He loves us and He knows our needs
He takes every burdens away to bear.
Our way is always a little more bright
Knowing we can give our trials to God
Always with us, He keeps us in His care
As on this troubled journey we trod.
I trust God to hold you in His loving arms
Many thoughts and prayers are with you
This bitter storm in life will pass on by
H will give you His peace foreveer new.
