Treasure in Clay Jars
God has put a lot of trust,
In us with work that we must;
Ensuring a special care,
What we are using and share.
That is why we do not quit,
But call upon His Spirit;
In giving me extra strength,
Persevere at any length.
Resist what temptation brings,
So not to do shameful things;
That would be immoral acts,
Nor to lie or twist the facts.
God is hearing what we speak,
As a witness what we seek;
Knowing when truth not comes out,
Or when we are hiding doubt.
We're as clay jars with treasure,
Loosing value with pleasure;
But gains in worth and value,
When we are loyal and true.
