Old Man

I am an old man in a waistcoat
Long gone out of style
Sitting alone in my corner
With a dreamy smile

Sorting through my memories
Pleased at what I find
Randomly unsorted scattered
Throughout my mind

And I talk with folk long gone
Well loved faces
Ramble again with them through
Well loved places

Then having found all the memories
That I seek
I close down my mind until this time
Next week

Just an old man in a waistcoat
