Sacrificial Giving
You know all that I do,
Each and everyday through;
With all that I hold dear,
Since the day I came here.
Some sorrow and trouble,
But have remained humble;
As I keep serving God,
Giving honor and laud.
Just as with Jesus Christ,
I have too sacrificed;
Quitting another life,
Filled with toils and strife.
So I have no remorse,
In mid-life changing course;
Though I have not as much,
Tis more worth from Christ's touch.
Through each day that I live,
Tis more blessed to give;
Than all that I receive,
I'm rich in what I believe.
