Hearing and Obeying
You should quickly listen,
But be slowly to speak;
So anger not christen,
Whatever you may seek.
Anger not accomplish,
For you on anything;
Just anxiety and anguish,
Possibly it may bring.
Impossible to do,
Whatever God wants done;
Not able to bless you,
If you go jump the gun.
Stop being slave to sin,
Doing what is evil;
And taunting you within,
Tempted by the devil.
Become humble instead,
As you listen to God;
He will feed in your head,
Things that you can applaud.
