Eternally Faithful
If we had died with Christ,
On the cross sacrificed;
Then we shall live with Him,
No longer feeling grim.
If we do not give up,
Then we will taste the cup;
For with Him we will rule,
Our foes a footstool.
But if we would deny,
Christ as our ally;
Then we would be denied,
Since we did not abide.
But He will remain just,
When we put our trust;
Being faithful and true,
In all that we will do.
Even when we are not,
Faithful as we ought;
Christ shall always be,
Faithful eternally.
