Mystery Unfurled
I told you of the mystery,
That has been part of history;
To when God had suffered a loss,
As His Son was nailed to a cross.
The earth had been trembling with fear,
As the rumbling that you could hear;
And becoming dark from the clouds,
As though for to disperse the crowds.
Then as Jesus was taken down,
Still on His head a thorny crown;
No place for the body to save,
Except having a borrowed grave.
But the third day at morning light,
To an astonishing delight;
The stone at the tomb rolled aside,
And the body missing inside.
Thieves did not steal since He was seen,
Witnesses told where He had been;
Wisdom from a plan that unfurled,
All because God so loved the world.
