 ramblings and things

Paragon

I saw him on his protest line
In his latest cause of the day
I walked straight towards him
And he moved from my way

A rebel of any and many causes
That he can manipulate and sway
Supposed voice of the oppressed
As long as he can make it pay

I have seen him up close
Over some passing years
Can't forget how often he
Reduced our staff to tears

He seemed to have his motto
Which he lived to day by day
Don't do as I do mate
Just do as I say

A blaggard and a bounder
Dishonest and a shirk
Using his many causes to
Avoid any honest work

I expect to open my paper
And one day to see
Him in his seedy glory
Newly elected as MP

No need to be nervous
He'll fit straight in
A very worthy member
Of that chamber of sin

I saw him on his protest line
In his latest cause of the day
I walked straight towards him
And he moved from my way
