Your Living Spirit
Your spirit is no longer dead,
But raised to life with Christ instead;
Set your heart on what is given,
Rather than earth but on Heaven.
To the place where Jesus Christ rules,
And foes are turned into footstools;
Sitting on the right side of God,
Where all worship honor and laud.
Think about all that is up there,
Especially the love they share;
Instead of what is here on earth,
With nothing of any real worth.
Jesus gives your life true meaning,
And your heart a thorough cleaning;
As to the place your life will hide,
When you are in Christ to abide.
On His return and reappears,
Jesus will chase away your fears;
Bowing down at an awesome sight,
Seeing Him in radiant light.
