Spiritual Baby
Just like a new born of this earth,
As if you were just given birth;
And you are not able to speak,
On spiritual things you seek.
Your faith in Christ is very young,
Unable to control your tongue;
Still an infant and only feed,
On milk of spiritual seed.
It is not yet for to be seen,
From the milk just when you will wean;
And to start eating solid food,
When matured in your attitude.
Since you are set in earthly ways,
Still acting childish these days;
With having jealousy and lust,
Requires you to grow in your trust.
So examine yourself for sure,
How you spiritually mature;
Learning each and every day,
On the straight and narrow pathway.
