She'll Never Know
She'll Never Know
Will she ever notice
The feelings that I have
I try to give her signals
They only turn out bad
She needs to know I love her
Before I go away
I cannot find the words
I think I need to say
I love her golden hair
And her blue-green eyes
I love the way she dances
Beneath the morning skies
She gets my juices flowing
I cannot cool them down
But I'm feeling helpless
I feel like Cassie's clown
I see her at the malt shop
She's with her favorite friends
I cannot share my feelings
What message would that send
I hear the old clock ringing
The time has finally come
I give up on my chances
My fears have finally won
So now this train is moving
Slowly down the tracks
I hear the whistle blowing
Too late turn on back
She'll never know the reasons
Why I am so shy
She'll have the memories
Of days I made her cry
She'll never know the feelings
That I have for her
But maybe that's the answer
I'll never know for sure
