Talking to the Father
There is only one God,
For to honor and laud;
And Jesus Christ His Son,
Before time had begun.
Christ is the only way,
Onto whom when we pray;
And who is our brother,
Going to the Father.
In going to Him in prayer,
Of supplications share;
Give thanks what He has done,
Especially His Son.
And for prayer to succeed,
You need to intercede;
Those who are down and out,
Tribulations and doubt.
Be sincere and come clean,
Cleansed from sin with a sheen;
All requests you'll receive,
If you truly believe.
