 Divas of Country
(Believe it or not this was inspired by a dream I had.)

Divas of Country

What is so special about this simple guy?
I'm not even country, I will not tell a lie
But listen to this story I'm about to tell
Then you will realize why I need some help

It started at a rock show, I was by myself
Sitting in the front row, I heard some women yell
Seated right beside me; I couldn't believe my eyes
Graced in all her beauty was Ms LeAnn Rimes

On my other side was Shania Twain
Looking mighty pretty; one good lookin dame
She looked at LeAnn Rimes with fire in her eyes
That is when it happened, all I heard were cries

Divas of Country fighting over me
Scratching and clawing; what a sight to see
Shania and LeAnn; Miranda, Reba too
Who will be the winner when the fight is through

I couldn't get away; a ruckus they did start
Tearing at each other, their clothes all torn apart
That is when they grabbed me claiming to be mine
When I felt a tug coming from behind

Hands were all around me; tearing at my shirt
Turned to look around me; Oh Man! Miranda Lambert
She was young and luscious, I could dig this girl
She could make me happy in her country world

She tugged and grabbed and pulled; I thought she wouldn't tire
That is when I noticed Reba McEntire
She grabbed Miranda's shirt and tore it all in two
She said, this hunk is mine, he'll never go with you

Divas of Country fighting over me
Scratching and clawing; what a sight to see
Shania and LeAnn; Miranda, Reba too
Who will be the winner when the fight is through

They had to stop the concert and rushed us all away
Screaming and a yelling; such a bad display
They took us all in handcuffs and put us in a truck
Not a good decision for this sitting duck

Imagine four mad women with evil in their eyes
All with one purpose, to make me their guy
Things had gotten worse, the handcuffs didn't work
I was feeling trapped; the women went beserk

The truck began a rocking swaying back and forth
I felt like a rope in the middle of a tug of war
LeAnn and Shania; Miranda, Ms McEntire
That is when it happened the truck had blown a tire

Divas of Country fighting over me
Scratching and clawing; what a sight to see
Shania and LeAnn; Miranda, Reba too
Who will be the winner when the fight is through

I finally found a way and made my grand escape
I began to run; I was out of shape
I tried to hitch a ride I needed to get home
I just had a nightmare; I had to be alone

I noticed in the distance; headlights getting bright
They were coming towards me; I was blinded by the light
They finally came up closer and stopped in front of me
That is when I saw her, what a sight to see

There she stood before me smiling back at me
Told me she was there to finally set me free
I finally found the answer; it's now I understood
I was meant to be with Carrie Underwood

Divas of Country fighting over me
Scratching and clawing; what a sight to see
Shania and LeAnn; Miranda, Reba too
Who will be the winner when the fight is through
I am the real winner; in this rendevous
