My Spirit Lives On

Today I am gone,
but my spirit shall live on.

To the top of the tallest mountain I’ll go,
and to the bottom of the deepest sea I’ll
dive…
just to behold.

Around the boiling sun and across
the universe like a great star ship…
I shall fly,
and when I reach the end,
I turn around sail back again.

I’ll ride the wild winds,
until I’m forgiven for
my earthly sins.

I’ll Sleep on a puffy white cloud,
in my snow white shroud.

Looking down…
I sometimes wish I was still around.

It’s a world of worry and strife…
but after all it was my only life.

If I come back…
I hope my name will still be Jack.
