The Shepherd Watches
God has looked deep,
Into my heart;
That lets me leap,
Getting a fresh start.
God is aware,
I am sincere;
Wanting to share,
And have Him near.
God knows my thought,
And my intent;
Doing as I ought,
Through each event.
So when I work,
Or am at rest;
He gives a perk,
When He has blest.
He knows I am,
Part of His fold;
Being a lamb,
That He will hold.
