From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
Just Before I Kiss You

Gazing into your eyes
Trying to figure out
What my heart's trying to tell me
I place a strand of your hair
Right behind your left ear
There it is, True Beauty

Trying not to give in
To these distractions
Taking in your scent
Hooked on the violins
Playing in the background
Strengthening this emotion

Some kind of magical concoction
No one has any objection
You have all my affection
Maybe it's your heart
Trying to reach me
Could this possibly be

Saying, it's been broken
Trying to find the right person
To bring it healing
How are you able to guarantee
That you are truly him
Finding true love is slim

I reply, God is our witness today
In front of friends and family
On your finger I place a symbol
Representing our unity
I also wear one similar
So baby, have no fear

(Brushing your cheek
With my hand gently)
Baby I Love You
I'll always be here
I promise you
Just before I kiss you
