Prayer of Reflection

I kneel to the Father in prayer,
For my inner most thoughts to share;
He truly knows the complete worth,
All things in Heaven and on earth.

Because I firmly do believe,
Each living creature does receive;
Their life from Him both great and small,
Despite if they fly, swim or crawl.

So wonderful and glorious,
Christ has made us victorious;
Over death that is caused by sin,
That has corrupted us within.

I pray His Spirit keeps us strong,
Agony that seems to prolong;
The temptations that try to lure,
Through the sinfully open door.

But if Christ is within your heart,
Your faith will not let Him depart;
Because of His deep rooted love,
Pouring down on you from above.
