 From the Heart Through the Pen

Wasted Thoughts


I forgot to be her lover
For that I apologize
But never forgot I loved her
How I got lost in her eyes

She's what you call
Meant to be
My destined future see
I'm listening to never

As I get down on my knee
And take your hand
I ask if you'll let this man
Make your dreams come true

I want to spend the rest
Of my life with you
I can't help but smile
Envisioning what's yet to come

From our first child
To our first home
Your position next to me
To rule our kingdom

But what's so funny
Is you're just not ready
So these thoughts I have
I'll just keep them to me
