Alive on the out
Dying on the in
Never knew this situation
She would bring

On his face
You see the tears
You can see the smiles
Yet no voice you hear

Nothing compares to
The different tale
His eyes tell
With its empty stare

His heart still beats for her
So what's the deal
How long until he leaves his world
And journeys back to the one that's real

This condition
Most believe is rare
Leaving us confused
Sadly say the docs

They came with bad news
They have no idea
How long he'll be in this state
This coma he's in is love induced
