I Am Guilty

I stand in awe
as I think of all He's done
Of all things
He gave His only son

The love it took
that day at Calvary
He bore my pain
for all the world to see

I am guilty
of the blood He shed for me
I am guilty
that He died upon that tree
I am guilty
for the crown of thorns He wore
But He paid the price then
forever more

I can't imagine
how He called out to His Father
When so easily He could have said
'Why Should I Bother?'

The love it took
the day He died for me
He paid the price
for eternity

I am guilty
of the blood He shed for me
I am guilty
that He died upon that tree
I am guilty
for the crown of thorns He wore
But He paid the price then
forever more
