Vision of the LORD
I had a vision of the Lord,
One that could never be ignored;
He was up on His throne on high,
A dazzling glow to glorify.
Flaming creatures that had six wings,
On their claws I could see some rings;
With feathers of a brilliant red,
As they were flying overhead.
Not once could I see their faces,
Two of their wings were as laces;
And secluded them from my sight,
And shadowing them from the light.
But I could hear them to proclaim,
Shouting and exalting His name;
Holy, holy the Lord of Host,
And praise onto the Holy Ghost.
Then one of them flew down to me,
As I humbled on bended knee;
It said, "Your sins are forgiven,
Guilt free now, welcome to Heaven."
