Slaves to Sin
As a slave to sin,
You do not please God;
Corrupted within,
Because you are flawed.
All you have to show,
Is your guilt and shame;
That sends you below,
When death will proclaim.
The good you receive,
After you confess;
If you do believe,
God will surely bless.
You will be set free,
From sin as a slave;
Heaven you will see,
When pulled from the grave.
But in God abide,
To trust and obey;
Christ was crucified,
To stop your decay.
